The Windmill
In the past there were two windmills in Soest, named "de Vlijt" and "de Windhond", both of which were demolished.
Many enthousiastic volunteers, sponsors and beneficiaries made it possible for the windmill, "De Windhond", on the Soester Eng to be rebuilt.
The opening of the mill took place during the National Millday on the 10th of May 2008.

The International Butler Academy
The International Butler Academy (TIBA) is a unique and exclusive non-profit butlering & house management school (foundation under Dutch law). They are staying in our park at the moment. For more information go to www.butlerschool.com

Music studio
The idea of building a music studio on bungalowpark 't Eekhoornnest started with the request of musicians wanting to record their songs while touring the country. They wanted a place where they could create new ideas and a quality space to do this. With the unique, central location of this studio it creates the ultimate meeting place for musicians to come together. The studio is heated and has silent airconditioning.
A relaxed and comfortable atmosphere can be created with different available lightings.
Much thought has also been given to proper accoustics in the studio.
The choice for auralex acoustics optimizes this. There are two vocal booths, a live room/reheasal space and the control/mastering room.
The Studio rates excluding tax (incl. technician)
€ 299.= a day (8 hours), extra hours € 35.= an hour.
When using the studio 3 days in a row you will receive 10 % discount. With use of 6 days there is 20% discount.
When requested, the connections and settings will not be adjusted during the intermediary days.
A break, maximum of an hour, will not be charged on a daily rate. Accommodation costs are € 35.00 per person per day incl. bedsheets.

Guided tour Soestdijk palace
A guided tour through the Soestdijk palace is a unique experience. For the first time it is possible to visit the palace with the picturesque garden. The building is very old and has been inhabited almost 70 years by our former queen Juliana and prince Bernhard.
It is not possible to do a tour without a tourguide.
Admission fees:
Adults € 12,50 pp (max. 8 people)
Children € 10,00 pp (one parent/guardian per child)
